Rene Marie Russo is an American film actress and former supermodel. She is known for her beautiful beauty and her longevity in the highly competitive film industry reflects her skills and talent as performer. Her career began as a model during the 70s, and quickly became one of the top figures in modeling. After studying acting Russo embarked on a modeling career working in Los Angeles. Russo's screen debut was in ABCs 1989 drama Sable in which she was Eden Kendell. The following year, she played Tom Berengers love interest in her debut film Major League. Her determination won the hearts of the critics, who initially were unsure about her abilities as an actor. In Wolfgang Petersens Outbreak she was especially praised by critics for how well she held up in the face of Dustin Hoffman, Morgan Freeman and others. But, as per her own statements, she wasn't a fan of the acting. The year 2005 was the time she was for a hiatus that was forced by herself. For the film Thor, she returned to acting. Also, she appeared in Nightcrawler the film that her husband received an Oscar for. The Intern was her first funny and lighthearted film. She went on to appear in Just Getting Started and other comedies.
Rose Namajunas is one of the most successful female athletes within the UFC. Her career began in amateur fighting, taking part in numerous regional promotions prior to signing to Invicta Fighting Championships and later joining the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). Since joining the UFC She has gained a name in the sport due her achievements both within and outside the octagon. Namajunas was born on June 29, 1992, within Milwaukee Wisconsin. He was born into an ethnically diverse Lithuanian family. Rose was a basketball player as well as kickboxing when she was growing up. Invicta Fighting Championships were her first professional fight. When she was 18, she had already won two bouts via submission. Dana White, who was watching her closely at that time, signed Rose in the UFC strawweight division in December 2014. She was just turning 22. Rose has had highs and lows in her career, yet she always emerges triumphant. In April, 2015 Rose was a part of the fight against Carla Esparza for the inaugural Women s Strawweight Championship at The Ultimate Fighter 20 Finale where she won by technical knockout less than 3 minutes in Round One and not just winning the title but also getting the honor of being named Fighter Of The Night along making history in MMA as this fight marked only the first time that woman was a champion with a major promoter across the globe . Namajunas won several fights following this fight and received the title of Performance Of The Night by UFC after her wins over Joanna Jedrzejczyk.
